Terms of Service

Last updated 22 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of termiteinspectionmel.com.au and to services arranged through it by Termite Inspection Melbourne ("we", "us"). By using the site or booking a service you agree to them. They are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

2. Website content

Information on this site is general in nature. It describes how termite inspections and treatments usually work and does not replace an inspection of your property or professional advice about it. We try to keep the content accurate and current but do not warrant that it is complete or error-free.

3. Quotes and bookings

  • An enquiry through this site is a request for a quote, not a booking. A booking exists once we confirm a date in writing.
  • Quotes are based on the information you provide. If the property, access or scope differs on the day, the quote may need to be revised before work proceeds.
  • You must give us safe access to the areas to be inspected, including subfloor and roof hatches, and tell us about known hazards.

4. Inspections and reports

  • Inspections are visual and non-invasive and are limited to areas that are safely accessible at the time. The report lists areas that could not be inspected and why.
  • Inspections and reports are carried out in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards, including AS 3660.2 and AS 4349.3 where applicable.
  • A report reflects the condition of the property on the day of inspection. Termite activity can begin at any time after that date.
  • Reports are prepared for the client named on them and should not be relied on by anyone else without our agreement.

5. Treatments and protection systems

Treatments, barriers and baiting systems are carried out by technicians who hold the licensing Victoria requires for pest management, using products in accordance with their labels. Ongoing effectiveness depends on the conditions on the product label being met, including scheduled inspections and not disturbing treated zones. Any service warranty offered will be set out in writing with the quote.

6. Cancellations

You may reschedule or cancel a booking by contacting us as early as possible. Where a technician has already travelled to the property or work has begun, a reasonable charge for that time may apply and will be explained before it is charged.

7. Consumer guarantees

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any other loss is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.

8. Intellectual property

Content on this site, including text, illustrations and reports we produce, is owned by or licensed to us. You may use reports for the purpose they were prepared for and may not republish site content without permission.

9. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the privacy policy.

10. Contact
